Customer case: TNT Express, International Business Unit
Below is an example from a break out session in a workshop I held in Singapore in November 2006 where the headline was "Increase CIT (Customer Interface Technology) and e-service usage among TNT Express customers in
ASIA ". CIT tools are IT tools and services that add customer value to their shipping processes.
We had a group of 12 people which I divided into 4 groups. We followed theRealizers creative process and started with "Defining the challenge". They were all given 40 min to define the challenges they felt they had in
ASIA . We used a projector in a conference room and then added all challenges on a MindManager map so that everybody could see all challenges at the same time.
We then started to create ideas around how we could solve the challenges and how to solve the headline. Once we felt we had enough ideas we started the prioritise steps and started theRealizers Sorting Diagram to decide how easy or difficult each idea would be to implement. Once this was done we again used theRealizers "Add sorting branches" and dragged each idea to its preferred branch and fine tuned the decisions and got down to what ideas we should really focus on. After 1 hour and 45 minutes we had an agreement and a consensus in the group on what was needed to be done.
No one in the group had never worked this way before and was astonished how easy and quick we came to a result that everyone felt comfortable with. It could not have been done without MindManager and theRealizer.
